4-Hour Boat, Drinks And Snacks

Overview

This is a four-hour adults-only party boat run by PuntaGo Excursions, departing from the Punta Cana area with time spent at and around Bavaro Beach. The format is simple: transport to the marina, a boat party with a live DJ and an animation team, an open bar pouring standard alcoholic drinks, and a snorkeling stop where masks and life vests are provided. Fresh fruit and nachos with cheese or salsa are served onboard, though no full meals are included.

Round-trip hotel transport in an air-conditioned vehicle is part of the package, with pickup details coordinated a day in advance. You can also make your own way to the start point, per the listing. The boat carries up to 120 travellers, so expect a big, loud crowd rather than an intimate cruise. The music leans hip hop and the entertainment team works to keep people dancing between the bar and the water.

It suits travellers who want a high-energy, drink-in-hand party on the water and who do not need a proper lunch. Anyone hoping for a calm snorkel trip or a small-group vibe should look elsewhere. Reviews are mixed on delivery, which is worth weighing before booking, and the sections below cover what past travellers reported in detail.

What To Expect From The Tour

Here is what to know before you book, based on the listing and on what multiple past travellers reported.

• Bring basics. Towels and sunscreen are not included, so pack your own. Snorkeling gear, masks and life vests are provided for everyone.
• Food is light. The listing promises fresh fruit plus nachos with cheese or salsa. Several reviewers said food was minimal, with one noting a single fruit kabob and chips served late in the trip. Do not count on it as a meal.
• Drinks are standard. The open bar covers the standard selection while onboard. One reviewer said top-shelf liquor cost extra, and the same review called the poured drinks poor quality.
• Confirm pickup. Hotel pickup is coordinated a day before the activity. Communication is a recurring complaint: several travellers described unclear pickup instructions and difficulty reaching the operator on the day, so confirm details the evening before.
• Big Group Energy. The boat can take up to 120 travellers, with a DJ and animation team pushing the atmosphere. The one strongly positive review describes constant drinks and dancing; the vibe is a floating party, not a quiet sail.
• Weather matters. The experience requires good weather. If the operator cancels for poor conditions, you are offered a different date or a full refund.

Common issues. Reviews for this tour are sharply divided. Several travellers said the boat was not the vessel shown in the listing photos, and one claimed the operator was not the company they thought they had booked. Communication is the other recurring problem: one reviewer reported a missing hotel pickup and said the operator suggested taking a taxi, while another described a late start and a trip that ran shorter than the listed four hours. One reviewer also reported children on board despite the adults-only claim, little or no hip hop music, and rum-only service. On the listing side, full meals, towels, sunscreen, photos and gratuities are all extra, and the boat is not wheelchair accessible. One reviewer did describe it as an excellent, high-energy day.
